NOTICE - ALDEN CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE MEETING
The Ordinance Review Committee of the Alden City Council will meet in a Workshop Thursday, August 15, 2024, 4:00 PM, in the Conference Room at 174 Water St., to review and possibly recommend changes to the current City Code. There will be a quorum present, and any changes recommended will be reviewed and voted on by the full council at a regularly scheduled council meeting.
FOUND: A cell phone was found at Northpark the first week in January, and turned in to the city office. Please stop in to the city office to claim it.
SANITARY SEWER NOTICE: As a reminder paper towels, facial tissues, baby wipes, flushable wipes, and other similar items do not break down like toilet paper and can cause sanitary sewer backups, which in turn can cause additional public health concerns. PUBLIC NOTICE Sump pump connection to the sanitary sewer may be maintained from October 15, 2023 – March 15, 2024. The unauthorized use of a sump pump into the sanitary sewer during the period of March 15th, 2024 - October 15th,2024 could constitute a penalty per City Ordinance No. 51.062
